JFK international arrival planning
John F. Kennedy International Airport serves international arrivals into New York. ArrivalWise separates recent traveler observations from modeled planning ranges and helps organize the journey through passport control, baggage, customs and pickup.
Airport view
Plan your JFK arrival
- Select the current JFK terminal shown by your airline
- Choose only a lane or program you are eligible to use
- Choose the exact traveler type before using eligibility guidance
- Use live reports only when the app labels them live
- Add baggage, customs, walking and connection buffer
Terminal transition
JFK is opening new facilities in phases
Port Authority plans call for the first gates of the New Terminal One and Terminal 6 to open in phases beginning in 2026, with later completion milestones. A construction timeline is not proof that a terminal is already processing your flight.
Current operation
Verify the live terminal before travel
ArrivalWise does not add a future terminal to its selector until the official JFK terminal directory confirms current passenger use. Check the airline, JFK flight page and current construction advisories for the trip date.

Data status
Live means recent traveler reports
When recent reports are unavailable, ArrivalWise labels the result as a modeled planning range. It does not present the fallback as a live airport measurement.
Arrival journey
Track immigration through curb-ready
- Start at the passport-control line
- Confirm when passport control is complete
- Continue through checked baggage when needed
- Finish when you are outside and ready for pickup
